Abstract

Social network learning model is one of the learning model that aims to facilitate students’ independent using web-based learning. Learning through group designed to give the link online materials, online assignments and tests online. Besides it also could open learning students by clicking on the E-learning menu. To view the status of the task set by the teacher, students can also view the status of their profile, by clicking the Profile menu. Chat menu is also provided for the students to ask the questions directly to the teacher if there is a problem with the lesson, or if the teacher is not online students can post questions in the message menu is available in the menu. The teacher as a facilitator in this case, which motivates students verbally and non-verbally (using social networking media learning). The work of students in the form of training, evaluation or questions and responses will be stored in the program are made, thus facilitate teachers to recapitulate the (correct) the student’s work. In this paper will clarify how the steps in the design of social networking models MAN 3 Palembang.

Abstract

Model of virtual learning in mathematics lessons is learning that is designed in the classroom (computer lab) which uses interactive web media, so there is interaction between students and students, students with the media, and students with teachers. In the virtual learning model is designed every single computer is used by two students, which aims to give students collaborate in learning so that there is interaction between them. Interactive learning materials designed so that students can be motivated in learning mathematics. Teachers in this case as facilitators, which motivates students verbally and non verbally (using media website). The work of students in the form of training, evaluation or questions and responses will be stored in the program created, to facilitate teachers to recap students’ work.

ABSTRAK

Matematika abstrak pada umumnya akan lebih sulit dipahami dibandingkan dengan cabang matematika lain yang lebih kongkrit. Dalam artikel ini akan dibahas mengenai cabang matematika abstrak yaitu Struktur Aljabar. Berdasarkan pengalaman dalam pembelajaran struktur aljabar, mahasiswa kurang menyenangi matakuliah struktur aljabar dikarenakan konsep abstrak dari struktur aljabar tersebut. Pendekatan kontekstual sebagai pengantar dalam pembelajaran Struktur Aljabar merupakan salah satu solusi agar mahasiswa dapat menyenangi dan memahami lebih lanjut dari struktur aljabar tersebut.

Abstrak

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model jejaring sosial pada pelajaran matem­atika. Responden pada penelitian ini terbatas pada siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 3 Palembang. Penelitian ini dilaksanan pada bulan januari sampai dengan Juni 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Research dan Development (R&D) dengan menggabungkan model penelitian Borg & Gall dan model pengembangan Dick & Carey. Kelayakan dari model yang dikembangkan, peneliti melakukan uji pakar, uji 1-1, uji kelompok kecil, dan uji coba lapangan, dengan melihat minat dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan prototype keempat merupakan desain yang potensial efektif ketika digunakan pada saat pembelajaran. Ditunjukkan dengan 65,63% siswa tertarik terhadap model yang dikembangkan. Selain itu, rata-rata ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa adalah 82,66. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model yang peneliti kembangkan valid dan praktis digunakan pada pembelajaran matematika. Implikasinya model yang dikembangkan telah efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada matematika.

ABSTRACT

The library is one of the forms of organization of learning resources that collects various information in the form of a book and other form (non- book material) that can be utilized by the user (faculty, students, and 1 community) in an effort to develop their knowledge, ability and skill. Library itself is a resource center for learning. If related to teaching and learning in universities, libraries provide a very valuable contribution in the effort to increase the activity of students and improve the quality of education and teaching. Through the provision of libraries, students can interact and engage directly both physically and mentally in the learning process. Library is an integral part of the overall university programs, which together with other educational components also determine the success of the process of education and teaching. Use of the library as a trend in self-learning in higher education, must be supported by student interest in reading. Several attempts to do to improve student reading craze through the library are: 1) To provide students the literaturs they interested in ; 2) Make the library as a fern place for students through a good arrangement, with a friendly service; 3) Make the promotion and development activities interests and passions read by using the library; 4) Provide additional tasks to students outside of the classroom. Provision of 1 additional task is certainly related to the limited hours of lessons in the classroom

Abstract

Development of web-based instructional model is expected to encourage the involvement of students actively and constructively to the media, so the learning process a fun, creative, and not boring. Development of a model of instructional social networking website that can be used by an individual or several people at once (networking /collaboration). An interactive learning materials were developed, so that students can be motivated in learning. Teacher acted as a facilitator in this case to motivate students verbally and non verbally (using webmedia). The work of students in the form of training, evaluation, or questions and responses will be stored in the program are made, and it will facilitate teachers to recapitulate (correcting) the work of these students. Design development of the model is divided into three parts, namely:1) a conceptual model as a manifestation of the theory and principles related to web-based learning, 2) a model as a form of procedural stages of the formation of a web-based learning sites, 3) physical models to obtain evidence derived from empirical data on the results obtained from the development of web-based learning model.

Abstract

This research was conducted to produce a web based learning materials which is used in algebra structure course. The respondents of this research were student teachers of 6th semester, majoring in Maths, Faculty of Educational and Teaching Program, University of PGRI Palembang. The learning materials were developed by IDI (Instructional Development Institute) model. To measure of its validity, practicality, and effectiveness, a formative evaluation and a field test were used. The results showed that the 4111 prototype of the learning materials is potentially effective that 67,57% of students are motivated, 56,76% of students are interested and the students’ result of study which reached the point of 54,05%, are considered excellent. It can be concluded that the learning materials of structure of algebra based on website is valid and practical on study of structure of algebra, and has a potential effect.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar yang berbasis web yang dapat dipergunakan dalam mata kuliah struktur aljabar. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru semester keenam dengan konsentrasi bidang matematika di fakultas ilmu keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan, Universitas PGRI Palembang. Bahan ajar dikembangkan dengan mengg,unakan model IDI (Instructional Development Institute). Untuk mengukur validitas, keterpakaian dan efektivitasnya dilakukan evaluasi formatif dan tes lapangan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa prototipe keempat bahan belajar sunggIrk: efektif sehingga 67,57% dari mahasiswa termotivasi, 56,76% mahasiswa tertarik, dan hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai 54,05% dianggap sangat memuaskan. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa bahan belajar untuk struktur aljabar berbasis website adalah valid dan dapat dipergunakan untuk belajar struktur aljabar serta mempunyai efek yang tangguh.

Abstract

The research aims at analyzing the quality of students’ critical thinking and self-learning abilities by applying generative learning method in the subject of Algebra Structure at Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Luhuk Linggau. The variable of the research was the result ofgenerative learning approach to improve critical thinking and self-learning abilities in the subject of Algebra Structure at Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Luhuk Linggau. The research objects were 23 students of the fifth semester class in Mathematic Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Luhuk Linggau the year of 2009/2010. Research method applied was quasi experiment, with experiment class treated with generative learning method and without control class. The research result showed that in general, the critical thinking and self-learning abilities of Algebra Structure Subject had the mean of 75.90 (with minimum score of 70) meaning, the critical thinking and self-learning abilities of the students were generally in high level. Whereas the analysis result ofvariants test was t-count =3.954 and t-table (dk =22, a =1%) = 2,508. It showed that the critical thinking and self-learning abilities of the students with generative learning approach in the subject of Algebra Structure at Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Luhuk Linggau was above the score of 70.

Abstrak

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kualitas kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran generatif pada matakuliah Struktur Aljabar di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Variabel dalam kegiatan penelitian ini adalah hasil penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran generatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kritis dan kemandirian belajar pada matakuliah Struktur Aljabar di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester V kelas A Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau tahun perkuliahan 2009/ 2010 yang berjumlah 23 orang. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan kuasi eksperimen yang terdiri dari satu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran generatif dan tidak ada kelas pengontrolnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar struktur aljabar mempunyai rerata 75,90 (dari skor minimum 70). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa secara keseluruhan termasuk kategori tinggi. Sedangkan clari hasil analisis uji varians di dapat bahwa thitung = 3,954 dan ttabel(dk =22, a =1%) = 2,508. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan melihat kualitas kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran generatif pada matakuliah Struktur Aljabar di Program Stu.di Pendidikan Matematika STKIP PGRI Lubuklinggau telah mencapai nilai diatas 70.
